Regathering Update

“For everything there is a season,

a time for every activity under heaven.”

Ecclesiastes 3:1

March 2021 marks one year since our last in-person gathering on campus. We have all missed being together on campus and are looking forward to these coming months as we move towards reconnecting and regathering in-person! Please take a few moments and watch this video from Pastor Jason as he discusses our plans for regathering.

While recent Supreme Court decisions, as well as updates to the county guidelines, would allow us to open our campuses with limited capacity, we are continuing to worship together online. Our team is continuing to evaluate the progress of decreases in infection rates, increasing vaccination rates, local school districts, and local health guidelines. We look forward to being able to resume in-person gatherings very soon! Our desire is to always provide a safe environment for all who join us each weekend and for programs throughout the week.

We will continue to offer online services with live hosts at 9am and 11am PT. Watch with friends, interact with our chat hosts and the online community, and give by visiting the link below!

The easiest way to give is online.

Our team is monitoring the guidelines and balancing those guidelines with our ability to safely gather on our campuses. We anticipate gathering during Spring 2021, and will keep you up to date on reopening our campuses have been developed we will communicate these to you.

We are adhering to the guidance provided by the California State Department of Health and the LA County Department of Health. We are taking this action in concert with other large gathering venues throughout the county in an effort to prevent the spread of the COVID infection and to protect the most vulnerable people.

The Journey of Faith Preschool is currently open in a limited capacity under the current guidelines for schools.  There are daily temperature checks, health questionnaires completed for both staff and students. Currently, parents are required to conduct valet drop-offs and are not allowed on campus.

All teachers and workers are required to wear masks, and kids where possible are practicing social distancing both in and out of the classroom. Increased hand-washing and sanitizer are regular used for children throughout the day, and play areas are wiped down between group use.
