We believe story-telling is one of the most powerful tools on the planet. One important thing for us to remember is that we don’t share our stories to make ourselves look good. We share our stories because it helps us relate to one another, and develops our awareness of larger themes evident in the story of humanity.
Telling our stories is also an important part of the larger story God is authoring. Our stories of brokenness, vulnerability, victory, faithfulness, and growth need to be told to encourage and inform others. We are real people with real problems, but we believe in a real God. Your stories can be the best way to reveal the hope you have found in a life following Jesus. Telling our stories is one of the most simple and powerful ways to share who God is and why we put our faith in Him.
Following Jesus isn’t just a something to do on Sunday, but is instead a core identity we receive and live from on a daily basis. It is a relationship which can grow to shape and influence our attitudes, behaviors and decisions so we can experience life to the full. What story are you writing?
