A comprehensive learning experience for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years of age.
Journey School is a ministry of Journey of Faith Church open to children infant–6 years old. Our teachers are dedicated, caring and encouraging. They are able to create a child-led learning experience through a structured developmental environment offering multi-sensory experiences including hands-on learning, art & sensory activities, music and movement as well as children’s literature. We emphasize the importance of connecting the school and home partnership for each child. JOF School teachers work together with parents through daily pictures, regular communication, and special events throughout the school year.
Preparing the Next Generation
Journey School curriculum is the “backbone” of our school’s program. At Journey of Faith School, it is the basis for developing an effective, developmentally appropriate infant/toddler and preschool program. This includes social-emotional, physical, and academic areas, which are important areas of growth for each child. Our program includes our Biblically integrated early childhood thematic curriculum, books, music, and weekly phonics lessons. Preschool and TK classes use the “Learning Without Tears” and Zoo Phonics Curriculum to prepare them for kindergarten.

TESTIMONIALS
The BEST preschool ever!!! We absolutely love JOF! Both of our children attend, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience they’re having. The environment has been warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. Our kids are not only learning so much and growing every day, but they’re also genuinely excited to go to school, and that speaks volumes!
The staff and teachers at JOF are incredible — kind, patient, and deeply committed to each child’s well-being and development. It’s clear how much thought and care goes into every activity, lesson, and interaction. Both of our kids are thriving socially, emotionally, and academically thanks to the nurturing, creative, and supportive atmosphere.
Communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel informed, involved, and valued as part of the JOF community.
JOF is truly a 10/10 for our family, we’re so grateful to have found such an amazing place for our children to learn, grow, and feel loved every day.

This school is a special place. We dropped off our first baby when he was six months old and, as any parent knows, that experience is so scary, stressful, and emotional. You are entrusting strangers with this tiny, precious human that’s quite literally your heart walking (or crawling) out in the world. From day one, these teachers have slowly and delicately transformed from strangers to friends. It’s been so clear and obvious how much these women love and adore our children. They care about their well-being and their overall development! There are lesson plans, extracurricular activities, classroom parties, so many fun events for both students and parents to participate in and enjoy. We just had our second child a few months ago and have so much peace of mind knowing that she will be in great hands when a spot opens up for her.

We started sending our two boys to JoF when they were 2 and 4 yo. We were looking for a different Christian preschool from the one we were attending that provided more individualized attention, structured programming, and better teacher retention. But most importantly, we wanted a school that immersed our children in the grace and love of Jesus. Journey of Faith is a wonderful preschool with teachers and staff that truly love and know your children. My two kids are on the quieter side, but JoF has been an encouraging and safe environment to grow their confidence. In terms of academics, my older son just finished kindergarten at his local elementary school this past year and he was well prepared by JoF’s rigorous, yet engaging curriculum.
Tip: Waitlist can seem intimidating, but it’s mostly a challenge if you have an infant without a JoF sibling. With public TK expanding this past year, I think space is more readily available at Journey. We chose to keep our older son at JoF for TK even when we could’ve gone to his local public school because every extra year at JoF is so valuable.

When you walk into Journey of Faith, you notice it’s not run like a factory line for toddlers, it’s run like a place that believes small humans are already whole people. The staff doesn’t just “manage” kids, they guide them. They remember names, quirks and comfort items. They know when to step in and when to let independence bloom.
For our family, it’s been more than just a preschool. My kids aren’t simply learning their ABCs, they’re learning how to navigate friendships, find their own voices and feel safe enough to try new things. That kind of environment doesn’t happen by accident, it’s the result of a team that pays attention to the little things every single day.
You can feel that the teachers here have the rare combination of warmth and intentionality. It’s not the overblown “Disney” kind of positivity, it’s quieter, more genuine. The kind that makes you trust your kids are in the right hands, even on the days they’re struggling.
If you’re looking for a place that sees the long game, developing not just school readiness, but the early foundations of character, empathy and curiosity, Journey of Faith is the one.

Our oldest daughter joined JOF at two and we couldn’t be happier with our choice to trust her in the loving care of JOF. Nancy and her team combine their nurturing environment and intentional curriculum to create such a safe place for our daughter to learn and thrive. The teachers come up with such creative themes/activities each week, which gives something for our daughter to look forward to when transitioning from weekend/time home can be tough. It’s also evident how effective their teaching approach is by everything our daughter comes home telling us! The teachers also clearly bridge in some curriculum to help the students develop independence and self skills within their broader teacher-led environment.
Above all, the thing that I value in Nancy and two amazing teachers we’ve had (currently Ms. Michelle) is just how much they care about our daughter. They feel like a true partner in supporting her development and bring their sense of ministry and purpose to everything they do.
Our youngest will be joining in the future as well and we couldn’t be more at peace knowing the transition will be to this loving community.
