We’re Glad You’re Here!

Journey of Faith is a multi-site Christian church in the South Bay of Los Angeles with campuses in Manhattan Beach and Torrance. We strive to help you learn more about God, grow in your faith with others, and empower you to make a difference with your life.

Checking out a church for the first time may be intimidating, but it’s our goal to make your first-time experience as easy and hassle-free as possible.

The Sunday Experience

Our weekend service experience is a great first step to get connected and learn more about Journey whether your online or on campus. The Sunday service is approximately an hour long and includes worship and a Bible-based message.

Care Thursdays

September 2 – October 28

Every Thursday evening @ 7pm we are offering in-person, weekly care groups to help you find hope and healing with others who are experiencing similar struggles.

You must register in advance to attend, and childcare is provided up to age 8. As with all Journey indoor gatherings, masks will be required regardless of vaccination status.

On a typical Sunday our parking team will wave hello and direct you as you enter our parking areas. Just follow the smiling faces in the bright orange vests.

As you’re walking toward a building, a greeting team member will help you find where the auditorium, restrooms and kids’ areas are located. Check out these links to learn more about our students and kids environments.

If you need anything throughout the day — directions, or have a question — feel free to just ask anyone with a volunteer lanyard for help. We’re a friendly bunch, and we’d love to make you feel welcome. Make sure to check out our regathering page for more details as well.

Children fifth grade and younger experience Jesus on their level in a separate age-appropriate environment which overlaps with the adult service experience. At Journey Kids, they have their own service with singing, a Bible lesson, crafts and small group time.

To see what our kids are learning, check out the Journey Kids webpage. For nursing mothers, our Manhattan Beach campus also has a family room where moms and infants can watch the service together.

Middle school and high school students experience the adult service on Sunday’s, but have their own mid-week gatherings on Tuesday evenings. Check out the students page to learn more.

Our Sunday service typically last about 60 minutes. We start by singing three to four songs, then you’ll hear a message from one of the members of our teaching team. To get a feel for our teaching style, check out a recent message series.

Most people dress casually, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable. If you are planning to attend in-person make sure to review our Regathering Updates or Plan A Visit webpages so you know what to expect.

Fill in the blank with whatever fear you have about not being accepted: different faith background, divorced, a single parent, broke, an addict, a skeptic, etc. – and the answer will always be the same: Everyone is welcome!

So come as you are, and we’ll see you on Sunday!
