Connecting Kids to Jesus at Journey of Faith
Journey Kids’ Ministry is a safe and loving place where kids learn about God. We create a fun environment where children can build friendships, grow in their faith, and have experiences in God’s presence.
Journey Kids is available for children, infant to 5th grade, during each weekend service.
Helping Students Experience Jesus at Journey of Faith
Journey Students equips middle school and high school students to know Jesus and make an impact in their families, their schools, and the world around them. Students attend Sunday services with the adults, then meet for their own unique programs on Sunday evening at Torrance and Tuesday evening at Manhattan Beach. Students participate in games, worship with a live band, hear a practical teaching moment, and are guided in a time of group discussion.

Journey of Faith FAQ
On a typical Sunday our parking team will wave hello and direct you as you enter our parking areas. Just follow the smiling faces in the bright orange vests.
As you’re walking toward a building, a greeting team member will help you find where the auditorium, restrooms and kids areas are located. Check out these links to learn more about our students and kids environments.
If you need anything throughout your visit—directions, or have a question—feel free to ask anyone with a volunteer lanyard for help. We’re a friendly bunch, and we’d love to make you feel welcome!
Kids from infants to fifth grade have their own unique and fun experience of learning about Jesus on their level in a separate age-appropriate environment happening during the Sunday Services. Each Sunday kids have their own service with singing, a Bible lesson, crafts and small group time.
To see what your kids are learning, check out the Journey Kids webpage. For nursing mothers, our Manhattan Beach campus also has a family room where moms and infants can watch the service together.
Middle school and high school students experience the adult service on Sunday, but have their own midweek gatherings on Tuesday evenings. Check out the students page to learn more.
Our Sunday services typically last about 60 minutes. We start by singing a few songs, then you’ll hear a message from one of the members of our teaching team. To get a feel for our teaching style, check out a recent message series.
We all have something we could use to fill in that blank, right? You may be from a different faith background… or no faith background at all. You may be divorced or a single parent. You may be broke, addicted, a skeptic, and the answer will always be the same: Everyone is welcome!
So come as you are, and we’ll see you on Sunday!
We welcome you and your service animal!
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Journey of Faith welcomes service animals that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. Service animals are allowed to accompany their handler in all areas where the public is normally allowed to go.
Please note:
Emotional support animals, therapy animals, and pets are not considered service animals under the ADA and are not permitted inside buildings. Handlers are responsible for supervising and controlling their service animals at all times. Please ensure your service animal is wearing a harness and a leash.
If your animal displays behaviors such as: barking or growling, approaching individuals without permission, or showing aggressive behavior, we will ask that you leave your animal at home, or enjoy our services online.
If you have questions about accessibility or need additional assistance, we’d love to help. Just reach out ahead of your visit or speak to a Guest Experience volunteer when you arrive.
To help keep everyone safe and comfortable, backpacks and large bags aren’t permitted inside the auditorium unless they are clear or have been checked by a member of our safety team or staff.
Need a place to store your bag? We’ve got you covered — a secure storage area is available in the main lobby where backpacks can be safely locked during the event.
Thanks so much for your understanding and helping us create a great experience for everyone!
